Caring for orphans holds a special place in Islam. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

“I and the person who looks after an orphan and provides for him will be in Paradise like this.”

He ﷺ then joined his index and middle fingers together. (Sahih al-Bukhari)

Our Orphan Care Programme supports vulnerable orphans and their families in communities affected by poverty, conflict and hardship. Our aim is not simply to provide short-term assistance, but to help children receive the ongoing support they need to thrive.

Through the generosity of our donors, we help provide:

• Food and nutritious meals
• Clothing and essential items
• Education and school support
• Healthcare and essential medical needs
• Eid gifts and special activities
• Ongoing support according to each child's needs
