As freezing temperatures and harsh storms strike Gaza, hundreds of thousands of displaced families are enduring unimaginable hardship in makeshift encampments. Worn-out tents and thin plastic sheeting are torn away by severe winter gales and flooded by relentless torrential rain.
Without warm clothes, weatherproof shelters, and insulating bedding, vulnerable children and elderly family members face life-threatening hypothermia and winter illnesses.
